National Grid employees visited Clear Path for Veterans in Chittenango on Nov. 10 and presented a check for $4,000 to the organization. The donation represents proceeds from the sale of camouflage hard hats sold by the company’s Veterans Employee Resource Group to employees in central New York. National Grid employees have purchased more than 110 hardhats since they went on sale earlier this year.

Clear Path for Veterans is a Central New York nonprofit that serves as a hub of information, programs, and resources for veterans, active military, and their families. The presentation took place during the Wednesday Canteen, where organization staff and volunteers host a complimentary lunch for active duty, National Guard and reserve personnel, veterans of all eras, and their immediate families.
