National Grid has called off the public appeal to reduce electricity use in the Fayetteville, Manlius, Pompey and Jamesville areas of eastern Onondaga County today after crews successfully installed a mobile substation to serve customers while repairs to the permanent substation are being made.
“A big thank you to our customers for their responsiveness,” said Alberto Bianchetti, National Grid’s Central New York Regional Executive. “Our crews worked around the clock to restore electricity service, and we are very grateful for the support of area residents who helped to make that happen.”
